A forest of treehouses
... and finally a solid idea! My treehouse consists of five individual layers, each one utilizing the movement of cloth in a different way. I love being in nature, but there are times when I don't want to be completely exposed to the elements. This treehouse in kind of an experiment of the balance between exposure vs. closure.
This is the original sketch though. Final, prettier product on the way!
Finding the way... eventually
Well, safe to say that wayfinding was an incredibly confusing project. I would be lying if I said that I was sad to see it end. However, I will say that I did learn some things. Crazy, huh?!
Amongst the confusion, I learned a lot about learning. About looking at things that I've never thought to look at. And to push the boundaries of thought beyond what's advised. I think it's imperative that we, as designers, learn to feel things out on our own and not be given a mold to fit our ideas into.

These are the classroom logos that I designed. They classify the three different types of rooms inside of Malott.
